The self-service restaurant with its spacious panoramic terrace does not require a reservation. We have plenty of space for you to drop by at any time and recharge your batteries.

Directions

The Fronalpstock is situated at 1,922 metres above sea level and can only be reached on foot or by chairlift. Take the world’s steepest funicular railway from Schwyz or the small aerial cableway from Morschach to the mountain village of Stoos – where there is no access for automobiles. From there, the comfortable chairlift takes you straight up to the Fronlapstock.

Detailed directions

There is no automobile access to the mountain village of Stoos. There are ample parking spaces available at the mountain railway and aerial cableway valley stations.

Costs vary depending on how long you park for. The rate per day is lower for stays lasting several days.

E-charging stations for your e-bike or electric car are available at the base station of the Schwyz funicular railway.

The aerial cableway in Morschach has no charging points for electric cars.

We don’t have any extra beds. Some rooms have sofa beds that can be converted into additional beds on request.

No. We do not offer room service. However, you are free to take your meals up to your room and enjoy them in private on the balcony if you wish.

Pets are welcome to stay with us. Simply select the additional service “dog” when you book online and you’ll have food, a drinking bowl and a cosy bed ready for your furry friend when you arrive. If your dog has a preferred brand of food, please bring this along with you.

We offer special rates for children up to the age of 15.

    In their parents’ bed:

    Charge for preparing the sofa bed:
    an additional CHF 50.00

Absolutely. For babies aged 0-2 years we provide a cot with cosy blankets free of charge.

If you would like your baby to sleep in your bed with you, please say so in the notes section when booking.

For a family of four we recommend the double room with bunk beds. If you need a little more space, the right choice for you is the studio apartment with sofa bed and two separate bedrooms (sleeps up to five in total). Families of three can also comfortably stay in a double room with balcony and pull-out armchair.
