World-famous ridge hike

Hiking the world-famous ridge hike between Klingenstock and Fronalpstock is a breathtaking experience. Crossing the well-pathed ridge over a distance of some four kilometres, it offers a spectacular 360° panorama that takes in more than ten Swiss lakes, the surrounding peaks of the Central Swiss Alps and the deep blue of Lake Lucerne. For this hike you need to have a head for heights and be sure-footed. The initial elevation gain up to the Klingenstock is easily overcome: simply take the chairlift.

The brand-new playground on the Fronalpstock with its wooden fixtures opens up a whole world of adventure for little explorers. On the highest-altitude playground in Canton Schwyz, children can let their imagination run wild as they climb, slide and play amidst the majestic alpine scenery. While the kids have the time of their lives, you can enjoy a meal on the sun terrace of our restaurant next door as you take in the superb views of the surrounding peaks. A perfect place for families to the make the most of their time together.

Experience what is probably the most exquisite sunset on a Saturday evening trip up to the Fronalpstock. The chairlift takes you conveniently up to the summit where a breathtaking panorama of Lake Lucerne awaits you. Fun on the slopes

Compact but exquisite: with 35 kilometres of slopes, the Stoos offers perfect conditions for all skill levels. Enjoy relaxed skiing on the Fronalpstock or thrilling descents on the Franz Heinzer race slope on the Klingenstock. Freestylers can demonstrate the entire repertoire of their skills as they practice their tricks to perfection in the snow park on the various kicker ramps and obstacles.
